A New Standard for Millstream Farm
Cottage 26 has undergone a full refurbishment as part of a broader vision to establish a new benchmark for the future of Millstream Farm’s cottages. Selected as the pilot project for this new direction, the refurbishment was designed to improve the guest experience, strengthen rental appeal, protect long-term asset value, and create a more consistent and modern standard across the resort.
While Cottage 26 was due for its yearly upgrade, this project became an opportunity to rethink the space more intentionally. Every detail was carefully considered to create a lighter, warmer, and more welcoming environment while still preserving the relaxed country charm and character that so many families have come to love over the years.
One of the standout additions is the beautiful new covered patio and braai area, designed to extend the living space outdoors and allow guests and owners to enjoy Millstream Farm in comfort throughout every season.
This refurbishment is far more than a cosmetic refresh. It represents a strategic investment in the future of Millstream Farm and the long-term experience of both owners and guests. This will be funded through a special levy.

The full renovation of Cottage 26 represents a significant investment in the future of Millstream Farm and will deliver a complete interior transformation designed to modernise, refresh, and elevate the overall guest and owner experience. To keep costs as manageable as possible, much of the work will be completed by our experienced in-house team, resulting in substantial savings compared to relying entirely on external contractors. The project is expected to cost approximately R5 million over a two-year period, which will be funded through a special levy.
